Rex Allen junior is an American country singer whose fortunes have been good but have not surpassed that of his father Rex Allen senior. In 1975 Rex released a non-album single "Lyin' In My Arms" which did well in country NSW and other places in Oz.
I have not been able to find the original single on CD anywhere in the world. The only version I've heard has been a re-make which sounds inferior and doesn't come close to the original's production values.
